Pennsylvania has a very good solar incentives, but one of the best states in the nation is Massachusetts. Due to SRECs, tax rebates, state incentives, the PV system get's paid off in 6 to 8 years.

State Supreme Court upholds ridiculous ballot requirements

The PA State Supreme Court seems hell-bent on restricting access to the ballot for third party candidates.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) The state Supreme Court dealt another blow Tuesday to a Green Party candidate’s U.S. Senate campaign by refusing to reduce the number of signatures that minor-party candidates need to run for statewide office.

In a one-sentence order, the court upheld a state judge’s decision in August that required Carl Romanelli to gather an unusually high 67,070 signatures to qualify for the Nov. 7 ballot alongside Republican Sen. Rick Santorum and Democratic state Treasurer Bob Casey.

PA Auto Insurance

Pennsylvania drivers are required by law to maintain a minimum coverage of 15/30/05. This means that the minimum amount of coverage a PA driver can have in place for liability coverage is $30,000 per individual/person. Moreover, Pennsylvania drivers have to carry a minimum coverage or $60,000 per accident. Every Pennsylvania driver has to also carry $10,000 in coverage for property that is damaged in the accident.

Life Insurance For Smokers

According to the American Red Cross, around 500 thousand smokers die in America every year from causes directly related to their smoking habit.

Smokers are 49 percent more likely to have heart disease or a heart attack, and up to four to five times more likely to have a cardiac event.

Life insurance companies are well aware of these statistics, so, because the likelihood of death or serious ilness is increased, they charge more for life insurance policies for smokers.
